fubz
I was watching SYSTM (the first episode) and was amazed how they just put that warspyingbox together. I have always wanted to do that, do you learn that in EECS in college? How do i learn it, i've always wanted to know how to take things apart and modify them.
murtu52
Well, basic electronics can be pick up--just take a broken VCR or CD player and you'll learn loads. To get to the really complicated things, though, i'd suggest you go to a local community college and take an electronics course--I took one (one class, the whole course after that was cancelled) and I loved it. Interesting stuff. Also, while looking on the internet, here is an excellent guide to fixing household electronics--and awesome way to learn unoffical electronics.http://repairfaq.ece.drexel.edu/sam/sammenu.htm
