Brian_Holiday
I have been downloading TWIT and I noticed an issue with bittorrent. When the download completes, I just close the app out of reflex. Now that didn't seem fair for me not to seed for a while. So, I got to thinking about setting up my machine to seed at night. Is there a way to run bittorrent so that it is just seeding in the background. The scripting and the Cron job aren't an issue, I know that part. I am just a bittorrent noob. TIA, BH
murtu52
I like this program called BitComet, it easily lets you make torrents out of files on your computer, and just distribute that to whoever you would like--or you could re-download it the file and let that seed, your choice. Here's a link for BitComet:http://www.bitcomet.com/

TIA, BH<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I run Azureus and it will do what you want. When you are done with the download you can exit the program and do whatever. All you have to do is just run Azureus again and it will seed anything you have downloaded. It will run in the background with no problems.......
shanenin
I agree Azureus is great, and does exactly what you want.
Sir_Siddy
Azureus might have a more familiar interface if youv used Kazaa or another P2P client. I really do like it there are are many plugins you can install for it. I use a RSS plugin to download TWIT automaticly ^^.
