TheTerrorist_75
Does it have a Hide option in the Preferences tab? Edited August 28, 2005 by TheTerrorist_75
Ravenhon
Does it have a Hide option in the Preferences tab?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>No, It doesn't. I thought I might be able to load it into a hex editor and do something, but I don't know enough about it.
JDoors
One idea that's worked for me in various programs: Search the Windows Registry for the product name and see if there's an obvious setting for "splash." A value of "0" usually turns it off (if it exists).

All it says is Name:(Default) Type:REG_SZData:(value not set)
JDoors
Uh-huh, they don't want you to turn it off. At this point I'd do a web search for something like: IPODDER SPLASH SCREEN DISABLE If the manufacturer has a fix, it'll turn up. If others have found the solution, it'll turn up. bnmjk
I'm using windows, but I assume this will work for whatever version you have.Replace C:\Program Files\ipodder\images\splashscreen.bmp with the smallest valid bitmap image you can make. It will still show up but be less intrusive.Bonus: it makes the app load a lot faster.I _hate_ splash screens.
