SN3AK
I've got an P2 with Windows 98 and this one (AMD 2800+) with Windows XP. A Microsoft wireless router and MN-730 PCI Adapter in this computer. The P2 is connected via Ethernet. When I open up the Microsoft Broadband Networking Utility it shows a list on the right with devices on my network. Under it there's a link on how to access files on these devices. Apparently I'm supposed to right click and click open but that doesn't seem to do anything at all. How do I share files between these computers? I've searched through the Help and couldn't find anything that worked.
quickbasicguru
First in XP run the Network Settings Wizard to setup file and printer sharing. Then you would set file and printer sharing in 98 (you could make a disk to set it up at the end of the XP process, it gives you that choice)Then you can share the files and folders that you want to share. (like in XP, right click on a folder and goto sharing)
