Iskandr
I recently bought a desktop from Asus. As per the norm these days it came with a lot of bloatware. I've been told to do a fresh install of Windows 7 to get rid of it all and clear my computer of that nonsense, and then download the drivers after. How do I go about doing this? The computer did not come with a Windows 7 install disc. What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
flashh4
Iskandr, if it was me i would just clean it up & out of whose ever stuff you got it from ! Then if its not good enough for what you want it for then buy you a Windows 7 disk & then install it !!I can help you clean it up pretty good if that's the way you want to go ! bozodog
Doesn't it have a "recovery partition"? You are normally instructed to make recovery disks from there when you first start up a new machine. Make the disks, put them away safely, then strip out the bloatware. Iskandr
Thanks for the advice! I just went through and uninstalled the bloatware one by one. I think it much simplier that way.
