A feature I'd love to see on OS X

I just wrote an article outlining improved iCloud support on OS X. Basically, I'd love to see OS X offer a better way to allow a user to restore their stuff from the cloud. Here's what I want: I want all my currently installed apps and their preferences/settings, my current system settings/configurations, and my data (documents, images, music, videos, etc) to be able to restored to my Mac via iCloud.
