goman87
Hello all. My dad has just informed me of the Microsoft .NET Framework update which supposedly sucks and Firefox disables. *PC World Report* I was wondering if GoogleChrome is able to stop this attack from happening also. Is there any major flaws in Googlechrome? It's what I've been using on my Desktop and Laptop and at my college. Thank you. Edited October 18, 2009 by goman87
TheTerrorist_75
Why do you figure it sucks? The only reason Mozilla banned it was because it installed in Firefox without asking. The update fixes a security hole in browsers used with Windows operating systems. I would prefer security holes be plugged.
jcl
Actually, Mozilla disabled it, after consulting with Microsoft, because of a vulnerability. MS fixed the vulnerability before Mozilla updated the block list, but oh well.Anyway, since the vulnerability is in the plugin (or the .NET Framework) Chrome should be affected. Either install the update from Microsoft or disable the plugin in Chrome.
