For instance, the IE icons is a light blue color, however sometimes my computer shows it in the dark blue color (i haven't touched any settings). This happens with AIM's icon on the window taskbar, and winamp/spywareblaster's icon on the desktop. I haven't touched any settings, and this just started recently...anyone have any ideas? tictoc5150 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 hiya murtu52,the first thing I'd check is for driver updates for your graphics card.it sounds like you might be switching between color modes...then again, if you're only noticing just those icons in particular, I may be wrong.the next time it happens, r-click desktop>properties>settings tab> what is it set to? high color or true color?
