WilliamS
I am pretty familiar with CMS installs and such. I am looking for some help with forums. I am looking to add a forum to my site on my server. I have looked into Vbulletin but as I have a server hosted already with Server Intellect I need an asp.net solution. I need something that will run on a Windows 2008 Server. I want it to be resource friendly as I have MS SQL running on my server already. Here are my server specs. Looking for anyone who installed or currently using a asp.net forum. Tell me what you love about it and what features turned you on to it. Thanks! iccaros
is this going to be connected to the Internet, It is never a good Ideal to run MS SQl on the same system as a Internet facing web server. .NET will make Resource friendly hard and I am assuming you want free so here we gohttp://www.411asp.net/home/webapps/forum (listing of asp.net forum software free or not) http://www.dmgforums.com/ (free)We only use share point, but I would not recommend it.. Almost all web stuff I do is LAMP based so, I can not give advice on specific ASP.net software sorry.
