Bartpe Disk

today i tried to access the bartpe disk

on my compt running vista

and all i got was a corrupted

operating sys

it couldnt open any programs

email- internet explorer-avast ect

ok i was in a panic

so i tried the restore sys

and it worked

my Q other than the restore

what are my options

to repair visa

as i had to use an up grade from winxp home

to vista

would i have been able to repair vista

with out restore

if so how
