New Google Features (searchwiki)

Recommended Posts

Has anyone seen the new Google features -- SearchWiki?

What do you think about them? Would you use them?

I personally think it's an excellent idea to allow users to tailor their own results better for their needs. Of course, I think Google will aggregate all this data and use it, but I personally don't mind if it will make my searching more effective and allow me to find stuff easier.

I wrote a small article on them here (with a screen shot included)

The only addition I see on my Google Search Web tab is the addition of something-or-other about searching photo archives. What's your page look like?

If I intend to get results from a wiki I usually go directly there and use their search box.

The image is on the blog post - the results aren't from a wiki (that's just the name).

The wiki comes in because of the fact you can comment and view others comments.
