Delete Icons

hi team any one know how to delete the

past items or icons in the notification area

from the registry in vista basic

in win xppro

the path was

start- run-

type- regedit- enter

hkey- current user

software/microsoft/windows /explorer

scrol to tray notify

high light

on the right pane

delete

icons streams amd past icon streams

then control alt delete

in task manager

highlight explorer.exe

press end task

restart your compt

and that cleaned up the icons in the notification area

but vista hasent got that path

any one know how this is done in vista

you always come to my rescue

the path was much similiar

but a bit more complicated

i was trying to find the answer in the microsoft website

and vista help

2-3 days couldnt find it

so i posted
