I have 6 USB ports on my computer and when I connect something to it

I get a pop up that says that I could use USB 2 for faster connections.

I have the most current drivers installed and they should all be ver 2

Any idea why I get this message or what I can do to fix it?

Are you saying that you have a newer computer with the new 2.0 USB ports,

and not an older pc with the old 1.1 USB ports?

Have you tried different usb device one at a time? Do all usb devices give this popup or just some? Do you see any type of pattern to it?

Yes, these are newer USB ports--not the 1.1

Yes, different devices get the message.....my Zune MP3 player and a controler for a

flight simulator are just two examples

What motherboard do you have? Does this occur with the front or rear USB ports or both?
