I installed Vista sp1 on a Dell XPS 420. Ever since then I am getting a blue screen with stop code 0x0000c1f5. I even get this same stop code if I try and boot from my Vista DVD.

I found this information. The only solution MS offers is a complete format.

I found this article, with a work around, but I don't have this directory, c:\$Extend or the log file, $TxfLog. I am not sure what else to do.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
