shanenin
I installed Vista sp1 on a Dell XPS 420. Ever since then I am getting a blue screen with stop code 0x0000c1f5. I even get this same stop code if I try and boot from my Vista DVD. I found this information. The only solution MS offers is a complete format.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946084I found this article, with a work around, but I don't have this directory, c:\$Extend or the log file, $TxfLog. I am not sure what else to do.http://www.delmartian.com/TheGalacticToile...YSKB946084.aspxAny suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

shanenin
From what I remember, once this bug happened, their is no way to uninstall sp1 using the above method. If you tried to boot from the Vista install cd, it would just blue screen.
