X-Cannon
For the last year I've been using Sunbelts personal firewall (Kerio) Its been very useful but it crashes 2 times out of 3 on windows start up its the latest version as well (free edition). I use it because I can track and dictate inbound and outbound connections, scan and block network traffic recognized attacks, and make sure certain apps don't control other apps. I recently formated the PC and... I'm using XP Pro an SP2 I have the latest updates and would like to know if there are any alternatives to my current firewall, free preferably (not zone alarm plz)Thank You for your kind replies. JSKY
These are two I like and use. Both are free, easy to use, and highly configurable. One is Comodo Firewall Pro. (free) Comodo Firewall ProThe other is PC Tools Firewall Plus. (also free) PC Tools Firewall Plus

X-Cannon
Comodo Firewall Pro looks great, I guess it will let me choose which applications are allowed to communicate outbound/inbound via internet and trusted groups?
