intocomputing2
I have a small USB flash drive, it's this one:http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Pr...e=nsa&nsa=1what is the best way to install programs (like firefox) in it to carry around, so that I can actually launch them from it without relying on the host computer (computer lab, library, coffee shop) at all? intocomputing2
how about other programs such as avast antivirus? or is there a way to scan a file running an antivirus straight from your USB drive? or is such program not a good option because it could increase its size due to updates? intocomputing2
oh man, this is making me think that I should get one of these instead: http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item(1922)..._2GB_Black.aspxone of my friends has it, and it comes with U3 as well, and between the programs installed in the drive I saw Avast Antivirus, when the program comes installed in U3, does that mean that all the updates will be installed in the USB drive itself or on the host computer? and what about the programs in U3, does the same procedure apply to them as well?
