shanenin
Today I got this error trying to run combofix,"Current date is 2007-11-19. This copy of combofix has expired". I used a newly downloaded version from this location.. Any ideas why?
flashh4
Howdy, CF will cease to function on the 19th unless sUBs uploads a fresh copy.Just a warning. And the Beta will timeout on the 20th of November. So we just wait to see if he updates!Thats all thats posted in our private room from HJT experts !Chuck

flashh4
Howdy friend, just to follow up:You will need to delete all versions you have now and download the newest version. These have been updated in the last few days and will now work again without giving that expiration notice. Seems an expiration date wasn't working right & would popup !Now some info that LDTate posted: Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected,if it does open task-manager > use the processes tab (press ctrl alt and del at the same time) and endany process's of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue. If that happened we want to know and what process you had to end.Chuck
