irregularjoe
I recently tried to take a working hard drive with Windows XP and programs and data and put it in another box.Could not get it to boot. I tried different jumper setting. Is this because the drive doesn't have the chipset drivers on it?If so, how would I put them on?ThanksJoe

TheTerrorist_75
You will need to do a repair or fresh install. You willl also need to re-activate XP.Changing a Motherboard or Moving a Hard Drive with XP Installed
