mikex
I found this today. I didn't know about it so I wanted to pass it on.Open a .pdf with Adobe Reader. Go to view/read out loud/enable read out loud. Now click next to some text, it will put a line around the paragraph and read to you.I passed it around the office and no one knew it would read.Have fun.Mike

TheTerrorist_75
Go to Edit > Preferences > Reading to edit the volume and voice. You can make many changes to the Adobe Reader in Preferences. Go to Adobe's site or do a Google search on all of the options.

isteve
In case there are any Mac users reading this. Most any app that displays text can be read and there are apple scripts that will turn the text into aac file and sync to itunes and your ipod. But the voices get on your nerves pretty quick. Falcon1986
That's neat! Never knew it was there (I use Acrobat Professional 7.0.5). It uses Windows' own text-to-speech feature. Thanks!
