X-Cannon Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 Whenever I update my windows it finishes and tells me to reset my computer so I do and when it start again a few seconds after I put my password I get a blue screen with writing on it and it resets my computer happens everytime so the only way I can get rid of this is to hit F8 and go to last known good configuration and it works this is waht I found at start up 1 is brand new the 1st one. Dragon Posted December 22, 2004 Report Share Posted December 22, 2004 by the wayit looks you have a corrupted file on your os, i would suggest re-installing xp then try the updates again. only this time get sp2 right after you get sp1 done. see if htat helps. don't restart you computer until you have finished downloading sp2.
