shanenin Posted August 19, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2007 The huge negative of hardware raid is a recovery from a motherboard(raid contoller) that goes bad. The only way you can recover your data is to have the same controller as a replacement. With software raid that is not an issue. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
