May 8 Windows Update Causes Probs In Ie7

Recommended Posts

When I saw this in the tech news today, I decided to see if

it had been addressed on this board. After not seeing anything,

I've decided I should post this link because it does mention

a work around.

Since I don't have IE7, I haven't had the problem, but am sharing

in case it helps anyone else. I apologize if this is very old news

to the rest of you! nancy

only on machines where the Temporary Internet Files directory, which is used as IE's cache folder, has been moved. IE will not have the proper access rights to the folder in its new location and so will throw up the warning and refuse to run.

Does not seem likely to affect very many people.

But still good to be alerted that it could be a problem.
