garmanma
I'm figuring things out, slow but sure, except setting up my own homepage instead of the default.. It's Firefox, but when I click on "Tools" there isn't the "options" tag where I can make the selection. What am I missingMark

garmanma
Never figured to look there. While I'm thinking about it, is there an easy way to add all my bookmarks from XP over to the new browser?ThanksMark
shanenin
firefox saves your bookmarks as an html file. In windows XP this is located at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\random.default\bookmarks.htmlin linux it is usually stored at/home/username/.mozilla/firefox/random.default/bookmarks.htmlnote: any file or directory that starts with a "." is hidden. That means the ".mozilla" directory is hidden. You will just need to copy the file called "bookmarks.html" from you XP install to replace the "bookmarks.htm"l file on your linux install.
