Honda_Boy
I was wondering if anyone knew how to separate an audio track from video files (namely .avi, .mkv and .mp4). What kind of program would I need and is there a free one I can use? I already have Audacity to edit out the parts of the audio I want. Thanks for any help.

Honda_Boy
Thanks man! That second link is perfect. In fact, I don't even need Audacity with it.
Honda_Boy
ok nevermind, that one lets me do it 15 times then snubs me. i was hoping it had a time limit instead like maybe a few hours or a day or 2. That way I coulda done all that I wanted and uninstalled it. Crap. I'll give the other one a whack but it don't look anywhere near as easy as the second.*oh well, the first doesn't work with XviD .avi's. Crap.**w00t, I found a free one. Unfortunately, This one is not as accurate. To be more exact I'll have to use Audacity to cut the teensy weensy extra parts out.
