Besttechie
So your PC reboots for no reason (that you know of) out of the blue. Most of the time in XP this happens to a driver issue, however it could be a number of other reasons. Now for some reason in XP Microsoft decided they didn't want people to see the Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) anymore. Well, believe it or not the BSOD is very helpful, so here's how to enable it on XP.Open Control PanelSystemAdvanced tabStartup & Recovery Take the check out of Automatically Restart Then check the Write a system event and Send an administrative alert boxes. By doing this it will force a BSOD on the next crash (that's why it restarts, it's crashing) that posts the Stop Error Code which you can then research further.
