Honda_Boy
What kinda stuff have ya'll gotten so far. I've already gotten a few early gifts.my manager gave me this cool shirt. I kind wish he woulda remembered which car I have (96 EK) but the thing is I want one of these so bad.A girl at work also gave me 2 CD's. Queensryche: The Warning and Queensryche: Rage for Order. Originals too, not remasters. There's another girl at work I gave a mini gift to. She likes it when I sing in Japanese so I brought in my laptop with some Anime on it. All the opening and closing themes have karaoke to them so I played them and sang along and she loved it.Tomorrow is Christmas at my brother's and then the day after that is Christmas at Granny's. Then Christmas day of course is for everyone at this house. It ain't gonna be quite right without my brother. This is the first Christmas he ain't gonna be waking up and flyin down the steps with me (I'm 18 and he's 24 but hey Christmas is fun no matter how old you are).Happy holidays folks!!! I think.Merry Christmas Joe Edited December 24, 2006 by irregularjoe

Honda_Boy
Well today I did the stupidest thing in the world. I went to Wal-Mart. Didn't find a damn thing. While leaving there was massive traffic. I was already PO'ed when I get to this one intersection there were 2 people sitting there with a little pup. One was holding up a sign that said "On the road. hard times blah blah blah" Well since I was already pissed at the traffic and this one person I was trying to let go first wasn't paying a damn bit of attention and these morons on the side of the road seemed to be either scammers or lazy bums that shouldn't have left their houses in the first place, I peeled out like a ricer. Then off to the Mall. Believe or not, not very crowded. Busier than usual but not very crowded. Went to a CD shop and bought a CD for my best friend then bought a gift card for the girl at work that gave me the 2 CD's. Yes I suck at gift ideas. Then after that I went to an Off-Road shop clear across town to get a gift certificate for my manager. They were closed and won't open again till after Christmas. Damn. Well I told him that he's just gonna have to wait for his present. Now I feel like I need to get one more person a present. This guy at work that has been working there just as long as I have , real nice guy that anyone can get along with, that is quiting soon to start student teaching.AFTER that I went to my brother's for early Christmas at his place. I got a $20 gift card to Best Buy and an American Eagle hoodie that just has 12 across the front and the AE logo in the corner. He is the only reason I own any American Eagle or Ambercrombie or any of that preppy stuff. I gave hi a set of tools to keep in his truck and a Rush calendar. Only $13 calendar I'll ever buy.Whew what a day. Going to my granny's tomorrow for Christmas at her house. Gotta clean some blood, broken glass, and airbag debris out of the old Civic so I can sell the seats while I'm there. The old Civic is in the shop behind her house. I might just drive my pile up there so me and brother can put the new header in my car while we are up there. I need an impact wrench to get the old exhaust manifold off and all our equipment is in the shop at our granny's. So fun filled day Tomorrow. Can't wait till actual Christmas. blim
I got home made Fudge from my folks and home made peanut brittle from a sister! Ahhh, life is good! Fattening and tooth decaying, but sure is enjoyable! Liz
sethook
I broke down and bought myself a NAS for Christmas, which will allow me external storage and the ability to share pictures/files with my son, who lives in KY. Haven't the foggiest idea about setting up the FTP yet, but I guess I will dive into it tomorrow afternoon.Got it via Fry's. Very nice indeed! Enjoy.
Honda_Boy
well of course due to money issues, this year wasn't the greatest but hey, it's about family and the birth of Christ. I did get some decent things. It's always been a thing for my parents to leave one or 2 presents out unwrapped for me and my bro so since he wasn't there this year just 2 for me. First was a 1/32 Die Cast PzKpfw IV Ausf. G (Panzer IV Variant G) and sitting with it was a military style camo hoodie. After that when opening presents, I got the CD I wanted (and boy did I ever hint for this). Poets of the Fall: Signs of Life. I also got some more camo clothes plus a J!NX hoodie that says "Social Engineering Specialist: Because there is no patch for human stupidity." I'm sure the teacher is gonna love it when I walk into Sociology the first day. Lastly I got a new laptop bag that has a lot more pockets and things than my last one. Plus it ain't leather. I hate leather bags. I've already got 2 others that are leather and have more space than my old one but I just didn't like the leather.Well that's about it. My granny gave me a pair of jeans and a $20 bill. I'm gonna go DVD shopping with my Best Buy Gift card and some money. I've got my eye on some anime I wanna see. I also have a Borders card from graduation that I still haven't used yet. Edited December 26, 2006 by Honda_Boy
Besttechie
Well, I didn't get anything during Chanukah however, my parents are getting me a car since I just got my drivers license - here in New York you have to be 17 and have taken drivers ed in order to get it, if you don't take drivers ed you need to wait til you're 18. Anyway, we're looking at two cars... Honda Civic (4 door), and the Volvo S40. I like both a lot, so I'm really excited! Mandy also got me some presents... she tried so hard to find me a Nintendo Wii (she must have went to like over 100 stores), but she couldn't get one. So she got me two Wii games Zelda and Farcry as well as a Giftcard for Best Buy so when they get them in stock I can go get one.I got Mandy tickets for us to go see the Lion King on Broadway and I'm buying her a printer so she can print her pictures and put them in a portfolio. Oh yeah, and I got my first college acceptance letter with a scholarship B
robroy
congrats on the acceptance letter and scolarship Jeff I got the Jet Li Fearless DVD, a mall gift card, and gift cards for Ryans and Outback, so I see steaks in the near future. My Ford Probe was my main gift but of course it is back at the dealer again, been there for over a week while the try to find a replacement bolt for the timing belt tensioner
Honda_Boy
yeah, my hatchback was what kinda replaced all my gifts this year. That and the clutch for it too. The $3000 dropped on my dad's truck's new transmission and clutch also put a dent in Christmas. Oh well. I still got my hatchback and it's doin fine. I even fixed my driver side lock on Christmas. That was a nice present. I can actually open it from the driver side when it's locked.
