Whenever she starts or reboots the computer I have to reset her IP address. I got spoofed a few weeks back and after making sure everything I had on the unit was updated, I downloaded the MVPSHOST.bat file as suggested in the malware forum. shanenin Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 (edited) You just need to edit the hosts file using notepad. Enter the following command into the "run" box(in the start menu). This will open the file with notepadnotepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hoststhen delete everything in the file, then just add this line:127.0.0.1 localhostsave and exit Edited December 20, 2006 by shanenin Quote Link to post Share on other sites
