Adesso Systems, Inc. ("Adesso") knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. This notice describes Adesso's privacy policy for Tubes. This policy refers to this web site (the "Site" or "Tube Site") and Tubes software ("Tubes Software") and/or the Tubes online service ("Tubes Service") (referred to collectively as "Tubes Products"). Registration

We also offer you the option to unsubscribe from newsletters and announcements by return email or by changing your profile on the Customer Profile page on the Tubes Site.

Product and Service Offerings

The email address information that you provide on the Site may be used to contact you about other product and service offers from Adesso that we believe will be of value to you. Adesso may also use that information to let you know of additional products and services from other companies that you may be interested in, including any new applications that Adesso may offer. You can choose not to receive such information by opting-out on the Customer Profile page on the Site.

Significant Announcements by Email

We may also use your registered name and email address to provide you with information about this Site or about any user account you may create. There may be communications that are directly related to your registration, to fulfillment of a specific transaction, or about other significant developments that may affect your use of a Tubes Product or the Tubes Site. Additional Information for Product Orders and Other Purposes

This Site may request additional information from you on Product order forms or other online forms. Such forms may require you to provide contact information (such as name and mailing or shipping address) and payment information (such as credit card number and credit card expiration date). Tubes Products and Sharing of Content

Tubes Products allows you to share files, including video, audio and text files among a community of people that you select. You may participate in a community that includes persons that know your true identity, or one in which you are known only by your chosen username.

Nothing requires you to disclose your identity to others. If you choose to disclose your identity to third parties using any Tubes Product, you do so at your own risk.

Adesso is not responsible for the privacy or security of any information, personal or otherwise that you may choose to provide or exchange using the functionality of Tubes.

Forums and Blogs

Adesso may allow you to contribute to one or more "blogs" or forums on the Tubes Site otherwise contribute content. Each item of information or any materials you provide for such purposes is your "Public Content." You are not required to include information in Public Content that identifies you, but if you do, you do so at your own risk. You may not in your Public Content pose as or assume the identity of any other person or entity.

Feedback to Adesso

Adesso has feedback functionality on the Site that allows you to submit comments, suggestions, or bugs found. Adesso may collect your name or username and email address in order to follow up with you or thank you for a suggestion.

Log Files

Adesso may track the Site and the use of Tubes Products to analyze trends, administer the Site, track your actions and use of the Site, record transactions, and gather demographic information for aggregate use. Such analysis is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. Adesso uses cookies on this Site. Adesso use cookies to a track your session if you are logged in and to remember your email address. They are also used to make the browsing experience easy for you and help you to type less information.

Adesso uses both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. Adesso uses session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate the Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser.

Security Technology

In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Adesso, a product or product line of Adesso, or substantially all the assets of Adesso are acquired, customer information may well be one of the transferred assets. Release of Information for Legal Reasons

Adesso may release information concerning your use of Tubes (including, but not limited to, posted Public Content, registration information, and network records) when it believes in good faith that such release is appropriate to comply with the law (for example, pursuant to a statutory demand, subpoena, warrant or court order), to protect against fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of the Tubes, to protect Adesso's rights or property, enforce any contract between you and Adesso, or if Adesso reasonably believes that a situation involving danger of death or injury to any person requires disclosure.

Limited Use

Adesso does not intend to sell, share, or rent information obtained on this Site other than as discussed in this Privacy Statement.

Changes in this Privacy Statement
