lefty1953
I just swithed to FireFox and found it lacks some of IE's easy swithes. I used to go to Tools, Internet Options and then Multimedia and turn off Sounds, Video and Animations. How do you do that with FireFox? I cna't find it anywhere. Or do I just do that from IE and it works for Firefox? Help please if you can.
swordofdestiny
I just looked in all of FF's options, I don't think it has that option.
TheTerrorist_75
One of the main reasons I use Opera. Just like IE I can toggle sounds, video and animations on/off without having to mess with the userContent.css file.http://virtuelvis.com/archives/2005/04/disable-sound-firefox Edited November 26, 2006 by TheTerrorist_75

The reason I ask is my daughter goes to some web sites that play music once you log on and it eats up bandwidth like crasy.
