shanenin
I was looking to build a vista ready machine(hell I just want a new one). I was looking at this asus board, it uses the nvidia 6100 chipset for onboard video. I understand this uses system memory, unlike a regular graphics card. Other then that, will this video be comparable to a stand alone nvidia graphics card that is using the same chipset?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131040

shanenin
I am not sure if you are just able to compare numbers. Is the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 6100 chipset faster then a dedicated card like this GeForce 5500 ? That is what it seems like(assuming we are comparing apples to apples). TheTerrorist_75
It's probably more lke my MX4000. Onboard graphics aren't very close to the stand alone cards. To me buying a mobo with onboard options is just else than can go wrong. With Vista I imagine it is a crapshoot using onboard graphics.
