Bubba Bob
Wow, a 97' Sunfire that still runs Hold on to it, it's one of the last Anyway, first you need to determine what size you need. Din, (rectangle), or Double Din (More like a sqaure, but still rectangle) If I remember correctly, you have a double din hole. This means you'll need an installation kit to install the Pioneer Headunit. (assuming the head unit is single dim)Also, youll need an adapter to connect the head unit to the car's OEM wires. This is just a small harness of wires that you will connect to the Pioneer BEFORE you stick it into the dash. (you may have to cut & crimp some wires your self, depending on what adapter you get.)What CD reciever are you getting/putting in?Crutchfield has some good links to what you need & how to install it. JDoors
I second the Crutchfield link. They have practically every piece of information (and factory-look parts) you could ever need.
