Thanks Pete and Chuck, I am going out of town for work today but I will be back on Friday and will start the malware clean up process. I use Firefox and Chrome and have noticed the past couple of days it seems to be when I'm using Firefox that this happens.

In administrative events there are 2550 events since 8/21/15 mostly warning's. I would guess probably the percentage at about 60/40 Warning's to Error's. 27 Error's since yesterday morning.

Pete and Chuck, are you saying that my computer shutting down randomly and the trouble with my mouse being jumpy and slow/unresponsive is related to the task bar? Also, Chuck I did as you advised running explorer.exe

This is a basic home built computer about a year ago, nothing special just for the internet. Started running windows 7 and then the upgrade to Windows 10 a couple of months ago. For the past couple of weeks the PC has been shutting down randomly. No rhyme nor reason to the issue. Someone told me years ago the worst thing you can do is turn it off because of the sudden burst of electricity so it runs 24/7 plus I'm so impatient it drives me crazy to wait for it to power up even though it only takes about a minute to power up and get the browser back up.
