I am fluent in Sign Language...
it is amazing how much people do not understand Deaf culture...(notice Deaf with the capital D everyone!)....
I learned the hard way, but over time have made MANY Deaf friends and love to go hang out places, etc.

I hate MGE. Their front USB connections broke!!!!!
The case is sweet, but the fact I lost my USB connections ticks me off. The whole daggone piece inside came out when I unplugged one of my USB devices, I had to frickin use tweezers to get it out - it was all bent up.
Ok I'm done ranting.

Ya know what........SAME DANG THING HAPPENED TO ME.... but other than that the case my pretty bitchin. Good thing my mobo came with a backup rear USB panel just incase your case doesn't have front USB or if you bought an MGE

lurkers scare me i have a bunch of them outside my window right now. their just sitting there, on the ledge, with their beedy little red eyes. about 6 of the there are, but one is facing me and keeps pecking the window and bobbing his head.

Geez....I'm opening myself up to get bashed by this....
Let's see
#1 - I am so addicted to my computer that it literally causes marriage problems between my husband and I and he has asked me if he has to strap a keyboard to his body for me to pay attention to him.
#2 - I am EXTREMELY competitive. If someone comes along that threatens a position I have (no matter what it is)...it's search and destroy! I also have to try to outdo people.
#3 - I am involved in way too many activities in my life (full time homemaker, full time mom, Student in college, web site designer, fluent in sign language, certified to teach Chemical Abuse/Alcohol Treatment classes, avid horsewoman, musician - playing piano for over twenty years, youth choir director at church...and there's probably more but I can't think of it right off the bat). I have serious issues!!

Well after hearing all the lovely reasons why you chose your screen name, I would have switched over to something great like geekfreak or geekgirl, but I keep rjmiller15 from G4 so all your wonderful people would know who I was and actually talk to me.
rjmiller - My hubbie's name is Randy ®, I am Jen (j) and our last name is miller. That is so genius isn't it?
Also - our son goes by RJ....and the 15 is the day I got married. 9/15/01

I posted this topic on the former G4 Tech Support Forum, but that is no more...so here goes.
Got a friend of mine runningWindows ME (blach) on a Gateway Performance 800 pc. Her husband uses the "My Briefcase" folder...he clicks on it and nothing happens, all other icons work properly.
Any ideas on what they can try to open it?
They can right click on it and get the properties menu. She doesn't think it's zipped or compressed, but doesn't know how to tell.

I am booting with just the 512 stick. I took the 64 out. I don't know if this mobo can handle 512 mb? I thought I read someone that the system came standard with 256... So it confused me when I pulled out the 64 stick.
I didn't know if anyone knew what the 3 beeps meant?

Hey got a memory question. My friend's mom gave me her HP XE743 Pavilion for a memory upgrade. Before she gave me her computer, I looked up what memory she needed and read this computer used 256 mb memory (pc 133). So I bought her Pc133 512 MB stick and went to put it in and saw she had a PC 100 64 mb stick of memory!
I put in the 512 thinking I already knew it wouldn't work and turned the computer on and got a series of 3 beeps from it.
Am I way off here?

Ok here is how this works....I wish for something....and then you grant it but...put a stipulation on it and then list your wish.
For example:
I would post:
I wish my husband would clean out the garage.
You reply:
Wish granted, but....
your husband just moved everything out of the garage, and into your living room.
then you write "I wish that I could move into the country"
The next person could write....
Wish granted, but your move to the country meant you had to live on top of a toxic dump.
and then they would list their wish....
Got it???? Ok let's go, I'll start first!!!!
