*Update* Just tried to run scandisk, it didn't have exclusive access to Windows files, nothing else was open. Don't know if it means anything though.

Running XP Home SP2, no popups, can't update my AV because I can't getonline, even through Dial Up, and yes I've scanned with everything.

OK, using the internet, lifes good until, aprox 11AM today, stopped working. Call my ISP twice, lines fine. Finally determine it's a problem between modem and computer. Go to to Windows Security Center, message at the top boiled down to, Security Center Service wasn't started, Reboot Did that, 3 times. Same problem, click the Firewall Button, that service is stopped to. It starts it, I can see the settings but it's greyed out stuck to Off. I ran every scanner I have, SB, Avast, AdAware, as recent as I had them, still nothing. Update everything I can by dowlnoading the packages and manual insta
