My two 'girls' are Sammie and Cookie. Sammie is a Maine Coon Cat...all hair! She's a 'rescue' cat that I adopted when she was 4. She's now 9. When I got her she was so depressed. Now, she thinks she runs the show. I have to keep reminding her I'm the head female around here...lol. Cookie is a Tuxedeo Cat. Her markings are so close to a real jacket and white shirt. I can never forget it. My hubby and I were on the PA Turnpike just a few miles from where Flight 93 went down. If we had just been loaded a little sooner or later.... I pray that we never have to experience anything like that again anywhere in the world. And all because some 'nut' thinks he can get rid of all of us.

I don't think there can be anyone more 'opposite' than Hubby and me. Of course over the years we've kinda melded together...on some things. But he says that's why he likes me...it keeps him on his toes .

Mouse is always cleaned every 2 weeks at least...usually sooner. Have 2 cats...and their hair gets in and on everything. I'm in the process of checking with friends that might have an extra mouse I can borrow. Path of least resistance...in this case, simple and free. If I rule that out then I go to the next level.

Unfortuantely I'm mouse poor. Only the one. Maybe I can borrow someone's before buying another one to see if that might be the problem.

Just had a wierd occurance with the mouse. While playing solitare, when I held the button down for a few extra seconds the cards started jumping around. Could any of the above problems be associated in some way with my mouse? Everything stems from a mouse click. Or am I being too hopeful...LOL!

ms1033...I sure hope so. Can't afford anything major. And can't stand the thought of not being able to contact family....

Unfortunately, I have NOOOO clue how to do that kind of stuff. Especially with the registry...I wouldn't even attempt to touch that. Oh, well....looks like I call Gateway tomorrow.

Well, this has me scratching my head wondering what now?!? Everything has been working great til last night. It seems the gremlins have found me and are working overtime. When I try to close an email in Outlook Express with the red X, it closes down OE completely and puts me back at my desktop. It also takes several tries to highlite and delete email addys before I forward. Then when I try to delete an email, it deletes 2 or 3 at the same time.
