  1. Bearskin, I don't know whether to believe you or not! :D;):D

well I think I was about 12 years old. it was a flat bed truck. my brother in law used it to work the saw mill. he needed a bigger truck to haul lumber so I work for him long enough to pay off the little truck. about a month I think.

  2. my first car was a 1929 model A ford. paid $25 for it. top speed 40mph.

had to crank to start it so I got in the habit of parking on a steep hill. carried my brother in law's moonshine under the frony seat.

  3. Did you clear all cookies, temporary files etc.

run CCleaner and also if you ran spybot and your still getting the error then it may be something deeper then just cleaning out your temporary internet files.

one more thing, what kind of websites may i ask?

well one thing for sure it's not porn as I don't frequent those sites. it happens on any site. cnn.com...foxnews.com....digg.com

it happens about 2 times a week. I have come to the conclusion it is a pop-up that is blocked that can't show the data. thanks guys.

  4. occasionally this pops up on my desktop when I go to a web page. just ramdom pages.

I close it and it goes away for a couple of days. it doesn't happen enough to bother me.

anyone have an idea what it is? could it be a pop-up that I have blocked?

of course I'm running winme with firefox 5.0

I've updated and ran all the "nasty" scans.

  5. one more thing to consider. if you have a large college near you check out their dumpsters. I know down in college station, texas when school is out a lot of those aggies just throw their computers in the trash.

also if there is a large hospital near you they update their computers frequently. in the hospital where I worked the old computers were given to the chaplain to dispose of. be nice to the chaplain and/or his secretary.

I have 7 computers and the best one I have is 1.4 Ghz with 256 ram.

the one I use mostly is 200 Mhz with 32 megs ram.

  6. Link Removed.

    merry christmass.

    hahahhaha

if that's your idea of "funny" then you need serious help supyall. take your idiot humor and go back to G..G g ...that other place that puts up with fools like you.

Hi bearskin. I edited your quote box to get rid of that link. Happy Holidays!

  7. well while I do appreciate that you are helping out the boy's and girl's club I'm kinda wondering about the computers that are a couple of years old and terribly slow. how slow are they? My newest computer is 5 years old but it works for me. I don't want to sound cynical here but how fast do the computers need to be?

  8. here comes santy claws.

    here comes santy claws.

    sorry.....forgot the words.

  9. Government Pipe Specifications

    1. All pipe is to be made of a long hole, surrounded by metal or plastic centered around the hole.

    2. All pipe is to be hollow throughout the entire length - do not use holes of different length than the pipe.

    3. The I.D. (inside diameter) of all pipe must not exceed the O.D. (outside diameter) - otherwise the hole will be on the outside.

    4. All pipe is to be supplied with nothing in the hole so that water, steam or other stuff can be put inside at a later date.

    5. All pipe should be supplied without rust - this can be more readily applied at the job site. N.B. Some Vendors are now able to supply pre-rusted pipe. If available in your area, this product is recommended as it will save a lot of time on the job site.

    6. All pipe over 500 ft (153m) in length should have the words "long pipe" clearly painted on each end, so the Contractor will know it is a long pipe.

    7. Pipe over 2 miles (3.2 km) in length must have the words "very long pipe" painted in the middle, so the Contractor will not have to walk the entire length of the pipe to determine whether or not it is a long pipe or a very long pipe.

    8. All pipe over 6" (152 mm) in diameter must have the words "large pipe" painted on it, so the Contractor will not mistake it for small pipe.

    9. Flanges must be used on all pipe. Flanges must have holes for bolts quite separate from the big hole in the middle.

    10. When ordering 90 degrees, 45 degrees or 30 degrees elbow, be sure to specify right hand or left hand; otherwise you will end up going the wrong way.

    11. Be sure to specify to your vendor whether you want level, uphill or downhill pipe. If you use downhill pipe for going uphill, the water will flow the wrong way.

    12. All couplings should have either right hand or left hand thread, but do not mix the threads - otherwise, as the coupling is being screwed on one pipe, it is unscrewed from the other.
