Satiate

Hello, I am in need of a company where I can purchase a customized server. Our office needs one and since I'm the designated IT guy I have to purchase one. I'm just a PC guru and servers really aren't my forte at this time. Dell is out because the boss hates dell. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

If the sound card goes bad, meaning it doesn't show up in the device manager and reinstalling drivers doesn't work, can it affect the NIC? It is doing that to me at the moment. I take out the sound card I get my NIC back. So basically is the sound card gone for good? Windows 2000 Creative Soundblaster Live! Valvue Realtek NIC -----Update------ I switched sound cards and it found the new one. I switched them back and NOW it sees the old one. I found updated drivers for Creative and just installed them. Hopefully I can have sound and NIC at the same time. *crosses fingers* so far it seems

I admit I was never on the forums, my place was in the Chat, I only started working the forums a year ago (with G$). What did you end up doing? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> do a google search for mooning.gif and go to the small size the blue one is my new avatar probably wont stay long <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Along with new boards changes came changes in the rules. Bare bums are ok now. It won't get you banned. Though I wonder if the other mods read that part.

Thanks for the welcome For those that don't know me, I too also mod at G4. I wasn't much in Tech Support but when I was it was only for help and everyone there was very nice and helpful. G4 are idiots to remove it. So at least I know where to go for help now. I may not post much but I'll be around.
