Biggest problems: Remove any virus's or any other malware and restore system Hibernate Symptoms: So my computer was infected with a couple trojans, and I thought I got rid of them but it looks like they are persistent and now hiding from my anti-virus. My computer will no longer hibernate, it will show for about a half a second the "windows will now hibernate" screen and then just goes back to my desktop. I got standby working(not sure how) but it seems to wake up when im not around, it also wouldn't shut down but instead reboot and that was fixed by the same thing that got standby working ag
