It was a driver for my sound that i couldn't find anymore, but someone posted a link for me to the conexant audio device driver that i needed and the adobe flash player i didn't tick the right internet browser. i downloaded adobe flash player for internet explorer instead of firefox, I use firefox. but the windows vista flash player works for xp. yea i wish it wasn't so darn difficult to find driver updates.

Hey I just wanted to say that windows 7 is awesome! I switched from windows xp to windows 7. my internet seems to be a lot faster! like when i downloaded things using firefox in xp it would be like 76kb/s about and now it's well over 500kb/s i didn't know an operating system could effect your internet connection. i just love it! i was having some major driver issues when i first installed windows 7, but i fixed that all up and it works like a charm. i recommend downloading the windows 7 RC (release client). you get to use it for free until June 2010 I think. go now! do it. http://www.microso

Hi people.. I installed windows 7 on my computer and i had windows xp before. i still have the hdd so i can go back to it whenever, but i installed windows 7 on a bigger hdd and the sound doesn't work and the mute button on my laptop is lit up. idk what to do. i bought this stupid driver detective program for 30 bucks. it didn't do much and couldn't tell me if the drivers were updated successfully and also i can't watch youtube videos because when i try to install adobe flash player it doesn't work because when it makes you select an operating system windows 7 isn't there. idk what to do! plea

ok so i booted into safe mode, and ran the fix with the code you gave me. and then when otl rebooted my computer i booted into normal windows. then i ran quick scan in windows mode. is this what you wanted? Well i somehow navigated through Link 2 which brought me to some kind of a spanish forum and then i somehow navigated to combofix, i believe i downloaded it using firefox downloads and then i clicked it and a thing popped up that said run or cancel and nothing happened. i tried it like 5 more times still nothing.
