About Me
I was born in 1936 and have watched technology grow from the type 80 vacuum tube rectifier to a postage-stamp sized chip that can hold 8 hours of music.
I was an Electronics Engineer for many years designing circuitry for Air Force type training aids. I advanced to Computer programming, technical writing and then to Deputy Director of the USAF Training Systems Center. In November of 2000 I retired.
I studied Commercial Art when younger and have done some acrylics paintings. I used to play jazz trumpet. Now I hike, watch TV, Make DVDs from home movies on Pinnacle Studio 9 on my homemade computer. I wrote the golden Anniversary Chronicles for the Class of ’55 and do a lot of computer things at home.
I have two big yellow dogs that I love dearly.
My latest hobby is playing Texas Hold’em – with friends monthly and on line.
