    Pete_C made a stickie thread for everyone to say goodbye and there was another thread announcing the closing of the tech board. Why would they allow those to be up for two days if that was not their intention? There's a pungent odor of bs over there.

    The reason, or should I say A reason that I believe it was backpeddling, is because the first change they made was creating a NEW header that said something to the effect of "Tech Communities", and placed the Tech Support forum, by itself, under that heading.

    Then about an hour or so later, they got rid of that heading altogether, and changed the board name to CFH

    Why would they go through all that trouble if they knew they were changing the board name, and not deleting it.

    My belief has no basis in fact, it is just an observation I made and am now pointing out

    EDIT:

    Spelling. "creating" looked like "cretin"

    Which now that I think about it, was quite fitting in context! ;)

    Hi Everyone,

    This post is for everyone.  The Besttechie.net forums are not related to G4.  We are totally separate.  Please don't bring G4 matters or disagreements to this forum.  This forum is not for fighting.  Flaming will not be tolerated.  Our purpose is to give and get computer/technology help.  Posted arguments are not fair to the rest of the Besttechie Community.  If it continues we will have to restrict forum access to those who violate our policies.

    I agree with BT

    Just because most of us met at the TTV, then GTV boards, we should keep them two seperate entities.

    There is a lot of "family" here, and we have another place to get help here at besttechies.
