Thank you so much for your help, it worked. There wasn't any CD stuck in it, but it looks like I will have to do this manually as I tried just pushing the button after opening it manually and it still won't open by itself. I appreciate the help. Do you know if opening it manually from now on will damage it in the long run. Again thanks for your help.

For no apparent reason my DVD CD burner draw will not open The light goes on and you can see it move slightly trying to open but nothing happens. There is nothing in it...it is only a couple of years old and was put in after I had the computer. Any suggestions.
