Why couldn't I just copy & Paste or drag the C: drive to the external partition? What is the advantage of using progams like ghost?

CurlingSteve I have an 80gig external HD partitioned 50/50 I want to use for backups. Would you recemmend backing up the entire C: drive(since I have the space) or do just the necessary files? And thanks for the lesson on EXE files.

I'm trying to arrange my files for backing up and notice .exe files are found in Program Files as well as in My Documents. Is this normal or should they all be in one location? If they all should be in one location, which one is recommended? Thank you!

..... . ... For something that intermitent (sp), I would check out the connector at the CPU.... Is it a USB? Also check for an updated driver. As far as the *warn* goes... we all have one, visable only to oneself. Kind of a hall monitor so-to-speak. Thanks maxdog4.

For unknown reasons the mouse pointer started working. Nothing was done except rebooting 2 or 3 times since the problem arose. I'm keeping an eye on it tho and also will remove that Kodak thingy. Thanks tenmm. BTW, what is the Warn: (0%) below my avatar in all my posts? Did I do something wrong? How much trouble am I in?

Kodak Software Updater Agent is running in the background. CPU Usage fluctuates between zero and around 100%. Mahalo pueo38

Which Adaware is newer.....1.04 or SE?

My freinds mouse pointer freezes up and won't move on power up. The hourglass icon appears intermittantly indicating something is busy in the background. Anyone has a fix or tell me where I can find a fix. Thanks! Mahalo, pueo38
