jandazza
I'm kind of new to the whole techie thing, so bear with me. We have the airport connect for my laptop and my boyfriend's desktop computers so that we can hook up to the internet. Seems that our neighbors are hoping on the internet right on with us using our account. How do we make it so that only my boyfriend, me and any lucky houseguest who get our passwords, can get on the web through our account.SimpleBasicbut I'm too ignorant to know the answers.Muchas gracias. isteve
Open Airport Setup Assistant, click through, you will see a window asking to name your network and a drop down menu next to Wireless Security. Choose between 40 bit WEP too WPA2 the last being the best. Then choose a password, finish the setup when the airport reboots the mac will ask for a password. You should be good to go and your neighbors SOL.
