CsrLiz344
I did a search, and couldn't find anything. Anyway, I have the router hooked up, card in the other PC, and all is working-except printer sharing. I turned it on in both PC's, but when I type the name in, it tells me it can't find it. Is there a way to start over from the beginning, so I can do this right? (Steps would help). TIA!

CsrLiz344
I've done that 9 times, and it still is not working-needless to say, I'm getting alittle ticked.
Deucehearts
Sorry that this won't help but I had the same problem 2 months ago and never figured it out. I'm still trouble shooting it. Best of luck to you.
Deucehearts
I finally got it working last night. Do you have McAfee security center on the computer that is sharing the printer? I had to enable "trust this IP address" of my computer since the computer with the printer was silently blocking me from the printer.
CsrLiz344
I don't have McAfee, just AVG. Same problem, maybe? I don't know....
shanenin
when he says mcafee, he would be referring to the firewall. If you have any firewall, temporaly disable it to see if that helps. To be extra careful, you may want to disconnect from the internet before doing that.
