bozodog
So doesn't it keep scrolling when you "hit the stop" at the edge of the window? I don't know about ME but if I hold down my mouse button and go to the margin of this post in my browser it will scroll to the end. Up down, right left.

handplane
Have you seen this from Paint Help:To change the size of your pictureOn the Image menu, click Attributes. Under Units, click the unit of measurement you want to use for the width and height. Type the measurements in Width and Height. NotesYou can also resize your picture by dragging the image resize handles, located at the lower-right corner and along the bottom and right sides of your picture. (You might need to maximize the window to see the square resize handles.) If your current picture is bigger than the new size, the picture is cut from the right side and bottom to fit within the smaller area. If your current picture is smaller than the new size, the extra area is filled with the selected background color.Related Topics

You can also press Ctrl - A. I think this would only help if you want to copy the entire image.
tg1911
Clicking and continuing to drag in Irfanview, will continue to scroll when you hit the edge of the window. Also, after you have created the selection box, you can resize it to your needs by moving the cursor over the edges of the selection box, until the double arrow appears, then click and drag to the desired dimensions. After the selection is made, click Edit, and select Crop Selection. JDoors
And as a reminder, commercial and many shareware/freeware products have a "Zoom" function where you can zoom out, see the entire picture and work on it without resizing it. I use PaintShop Pro. If you're going to be working with graphics a lot it's worth the expense (as long as you can afford it, naturally).
