i had a by pass in 1984

now i think they insert a baloon to the blocked area

inflate the baloon

to clear the blockage

the problem is when the vein collapses

then it is essential to cut the the effected part

and graft another vein on to the non effected part

normally they take this from your leg

in my case

i only had a double the intake and the outlet

but it sounds as tho your wife isnt at the stage

so i am praying for her
