Naming is hard
"Hi. The person who sent you this link is a friend who likes you a lot but who wants you to respect their email address, their privacy, and their time.Chances are, this person asked you to visit this page because you did one of these things: * Forwarded a funny story, a virus warning, or a photo that you enjoyed * Sent email to lots of people using the “To:” line (instead of the “BCC:” line), thereby exposing your friend's email address to strangers * CC’d your friend unnecessarily on something you had sent primarily to someone else"http://thanksno.com/Friends abusing your email? send em this link Edited May 31, 2006 by Naming is hard

JDoors
Personal pleas have had no effect, I doubt an impersonal message would either. Some people are gonna forward that 5-deep e-mail you already saw four years ago no matter what you do (short of blocking them).

Some people are gonna forward that 5-deep e-mail you already saw four years ago no matter what you do (short of blocking them). You cloud send them links to porn.....I rec'd an email, it had like 3 fwds. I sent ian email to each email addy. Basicly explaining how to cut/copy and paste in outlook express, and how to clean the address book. I also told them that by having their email addy I could sign in to undessirable sites and they would get the spam, I could also sell their email addy and make money. I had a few freaked out replys, but after playing email tag and explaing the finer points of email harvesting and spam my inbox did lose plenty of weight.M Edited June 7, 2006 by mikex
JDoors
I think I just had a record for me, a forward with so many imbedded forwards it crashed my machine before I could open them all to get to the actual content. WHY I even bothered, I don't know.
