Snaxe
I installed a new heatsink yesterday. It is the Thermaltake EXTREME VOLCANO. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2500+. After installing it, whenever I boot up, it gives me a message saying:CPU is unworkable or has been changed --Check CPU Soft MenuIt stops right here. I can push F1 and it will go on fine. What is causing this? What do I do to stop it?
JSKY
The soft menu is installed on a mother board with few pin or dip switches, you do all your changes in your BIOs. (not using pins or switches). You might just need to go into your BIOs settings and just click save all settings to clear this. Here is a link that might give you some help.Soft MenuBut normally just going into the BIOs and checking "Save Settings and Exit" will work.
